Our newly restored Queen Anne Victorian built in 1875 mixes Victorian architecture with a 50s vintage kitchen, period pieces and modern amenities. We are located in the heart of Portland's highly desirable East End district, just two short blocks to the Eastern Promenade overlooking Casco Bay. The house is equidistant from the East End beach with its oceanside trail system connecting to downtown and the vibrant Restaurant Row with its diverse restaurants and microbreweries/distilleries. The space This is a unique, entirely renovated (2020) single-family home in the East End (Munjoy Hill) district of Portland. The house is setback from any road and only accessible by path. The house contains three bedrooms. The turret room is the largest bedroom (Queen bed) and contains a seating area. This room is very sunny and provides great views (you can see the ocean through the trees). The second bedroom (Queen bed) is a good size whereas the third bedroom is small (Single bed). The sleeping arrangements are ideal for couples and small families. The kitchen is restored with a 1950s vintage feel, including a genuine Crown Stove works gas range. The kitchen is compact but is eat in, with a window side table. The house has two full bathrooms - one on the first floor and one on the second floor. The second floor bathroom has a walk in shower, whereas the first floor bathroom has a cast iron tub with shower. The house has a separate living room (with flat screen TV) and separate dining room. Although not yet shown in the pictures, the house has a funky finished basement room (with Irish Bar!) for entertaining kids and keeping them out of the way. The basement room is also heated. Note that the basement room was not part of the renovation but it is still a very useful extra space that comes as part of the house.
