Wetland Scientist
Well established Land Use Consulting Company, located in Maine, seeks an experienced Wetland Scientist to work as part of a team in the delineation of wetlands, the preparation of reports and permit applications. You should be comfortable in the wilderness and able to manuever with equipment.
Responsibilities also include:
GIS mapping,
Analyzing data,
Wetland functional assessments,
Environmental monitoring of construction projects.
Position Requirements:
B.S. degree in Forestry, Wildlife, Plant & Soil Science, or a related natural resource/environmental field.
Minimum of two years experience delineating wetlands.
Ability to travel to Maine field locations (a per diem for projects requiring extended field travel is provided).
Excellent oral, written and problem-solving skills.
PWS Certification or interest in certification is a plus.
