Description Haley & Aldrich, Inc. is seeking Staff Design Engineer to conduct remedial design and construction field engineering related to the cleanup of contaminated sites. The successful candidate shall be a self-motivated problem solver with high attention to detail and must be capable of working with minimal direction to solve problems and prepare technically accurate design documents as independently as possible, while adhering to project scopes and budgets
Requirements must have a Bachelor and/or Master degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or environmental engineering.
must have minimum 5 years experience including preparation of design plans and technical specifications for remediation of contaminated sites, including earthwork and site/civil aspects of remedial construction projects.
design/build experience a plus.
excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PE Registration desired
CAD experience a plus.
experience with investigation and remediation of former manufactured gas plant sites a plus.
in-situ soil stabilization experience is a plus.
experience with coal combustion residuals management a plus.
Responsibilities The successful candidate will:
work closely with a team of professionals in developing civil engineering plans and specifications for a wide range of remediation and development projects
utilize CAD platforms to prepare detailed design deliverables including plans and specifications
perform various engineering assignments of limited scope which require application of standard techniques and procedures
perform calculations such as quantity calculations and estimates for drawing development
draft and review technical sections of project communications and reports

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
