Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will perform Project Management and technically lead projects for the Electrical Design group providing project management and electrical design projects for our power engineering, water, wastewater, colleges, university, hospital and food and beverage clients on a regional and national basis. The candidate will perform technical leadership roles and mentoring functions of the electrical engineers and designers, enhance the design process, standards and master design information, to improve the efficiency, and effectiveness of the group. The candidate will interface with both internal and external clients to understand their process, electrical design requirements, and develop solutions tailored to their application from conceptual design through detailed engineering and start up. This individual needs the energy to drive the design activities of new equipment installation, and improvements to existing facilities. The applicant must be flexible for 20% - 30% travel.
Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology. 7-15 years experience in Consulting. Min. 5 years leadership experience mentoring engineers and designers. Experience in specifying electrical equipment and developing one lines. Experience in electrical system design and specification. Ability to develop computer oriented electrical analysis using Easypower. Proven ability to deliver projects within scope, schedule and budget. Registered Professional Engineer preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good writing skills. Organized and detail oriented. Strong process and system aptitude. Can do positive attitude.
