Summary of Position:
CIEE s award winning Web Team is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of over 20 program and business websites, as well as their respective blogs, social media channels, and associated digital assets and marketing materials.
The web team strives to be on the cutting edge of the web industry, in both design and development, focusing on responsive web design using HTML5 & CSS3, putting the user experience first, and ensuring the latest techniques and trends are being implemented.
As the Web Designer, you will effectively and efficiently manage web operations, including: designing and building websites and web tools; adhering to site navigation and usability standards; content management; and website maintenance. You must be able to juggle multiple priorities and coordinate effectively with CIEE Marketing Managers and CIEE staff in other departments on projects.
Primary
Responsibilities: Design, build, and update company websitesDesign optimal navigation/usability structuresSelect site components and web standards, including technical and design aspectsTest websites for functionality in different browsers, on different platforms, and on different devicesDesign, build, and deploy HTML templates for e-campaigns/emailComplete the timely resolution of website error reportsManage projects/tasks tracked on an internal helpdeskOther duties as assigned
General Knowledge & Skill Requirements: Bachelor s degree required2-3 years of professional front-end Web design or equivalent utilizing HTML, CSS, Photoshop, JavaScript/JQuery requiredTech savvy individual with a strong eye for design and extreme attention to detailDesire and enthusiasm to learn new skills and processesAbility to translate business objectives into Web-based solutions; clearly define outcomes and design projects for achievement of defined outcomeWindows OSSEO fundamentalsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work both independently with little supervision, as well as within a team environmentAbility to take on project management lead role for specific projectsDesire to work with many departments and with people at all levels to achieve business objectivesAbility to deliver results requiring resources from other teamsExcellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentExperience and understanding of responsive design and development preferredExperience with ASP.NET and Visual Studio preferredExperience with SASS preferredAll other duties as assigned

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
