Description:
Spurwink's Glickman Academy is seeking a Master's level social worker for our special purpose program for children and adolescents who require behavioral support and treatment outside of a public school setting. The program utilizes individual, group, family and milieu treatment.
Duties:
You will conduct psychosocial assessments, formulate treatment goals and objectives, collect and analyze data, provide individual and group therapy, provide clinical consultation to classroom staff and BHP supervision and also follow IEP recommendations. Further responsibilities include facilitation of treatment team meetings, social brokerage, submission of APS managed care, and transition and discharge planning. Youth served present with diverse diagnostic profiles and treatment needs.
Qualifications:
Maine state LMSW-cc or equivalent required, LCSW or LCPC preferred. New graduates will be considered and supervision is provided.
