Job Description
Liquid Wireless, owned and operated by Publishers Clearing House, is looking for aDevelopment Managerto join our team in Portland, ME. The Dev Manager will lead our software development team and manage a system that receives over 7 million visits per month. We are looking for a manager who can interface with sales and marketing, keep us focused and spend up to half of their time developing software.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Allocation of dev tasks and timing of all development projects
Maintain code and development best practices including code reviews and common standards
Balance speed of project completion with acceptable code quality and error rates
Maintain good team dynamics by encouraging team communication, focus on agreed deliverables and addressing technical and personnel issues
Communicate outside of the dev team to help devise a realistic product road map

Required Skills/
Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
7 years software development experience
3 years of technical project management or dev management experience
Deep technical understanding of high performance consumer internet products
Ability to prioritize and sequence technical tasks
Ability to communicate effectively with developers and business managers
Can do attitude and a solutions oriented mind set
