Portland non-profit is searching for an Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Director and department heads. In this role as an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for file reorganization, composing correspondence, updating web sites, and supporting the executive staff and Board of Directors. You will also be responsible for taking Board Meeting minutes, preparing contracts, and compliance tracking. This role as an Administrative Assistant requires advanced Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills, strong multi tasking ability, excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, reliability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. This is a full time temporary to potentially direct hire opportunity paying $13.00 per hour.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
