Summary of Position Description
Under general direction of the Service Line Manager, Service Line VP and, Department Chiefs, performs a combination of administrative, project, and limited secretarial work. Work is diversified and delegated in the form of results expected, requiring independent decisions within a broad framework of practices and precedent. Position is expected to resolve problems of a varying nature with minimal direction provided.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Interpersonal skills needed to discreetly and independently handle confidential/sensitive situations.
Work requires advanced communication skills and knowledge of office and project management practices normally acquired in the first 2 years of college or business school.
Comprehensive knowledge of all of the procedure systems and equipment used in an Administrative Assistant role normally acquired during one to two years of related experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
