's ABC affiliate is looking for a Master Control Operator to operate studio and remote equipment and maintain station logs per FCC requirements. Need to be available nights and/or weekends
Responsibilities:To operate studio and remote equipment including: cameras, master control switchers and associated equipment, satellite downlink receivers and antenna control equipment, video tape players and recorders, video servers, and related broadcast automation software, audio mixers, HDTV management systems, and other equipment and systems. Additionally, to help interpret, update and maintain the station logs, per FCC requirements
Requirements:Also must be proficient in the following:
Microsoft Windows including Windows 2000, XP, and Windows 7
Excel
Word
Outlook.
Education:o Minimum of a High School Diploma
o one year experience in the operation and minor maintenance of television broadcast studio equipment.
o Valid FCC general radiotelephone license, SBE (Society of Broadcast Engineers) or equivalent technical certification is a plus.
Experience:Ability to operate VTR's, master control video switchers and automation equipment, cameras, audio mixers, satellite receivers, and other related studio equipment a must.
