MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a full-time clinical/imaging cardiologist for their faculty practice based in Portland with inpatient duties at Maine Medical Center and outpatient activity centered in our Scarborough ambulatory center. We are seeking a clinical cardiologist with expertise in advanced imaging (PET/CMR/CT). There are also opportunities within several established specialty programs including cardiovascular genetics, cardio-oncology, women's heart health, prevention, digital health, and the newly formed aortic center of excellence.
MaineHealth Cardiology is a growing multi-specialty practice, with ambulatory practice locations in Scarborough, Biddeford, Sanford, Lewiston, Brunswick, Skowhegan, North Conway (N.H.), Norway, Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, Rockport, Damariscotta, and Farmington. Faculty cardiologists are part of the nationally recognized Cardiovascular Service Line at Maine Medical Center, which serves as the hub for the extended MaineHealth network and partners with regional hospitals to coordinate cardiovascular care. Our group has vast experience with Value Based Care though the Maine Heart Center and participation in BPCI-A and the MaineHealth ACO.
The position involves a direct teaching role with medical students, residents, and cardiology fellows. The candidate will have an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine and the opportunity to participate in the Tufts-Maine Track MD program. Research opportunities are available for faculty utilizing internal and external funding sources with access to resources including the Maine Medical Center Research Institute (MMCRI).
Maine Medical Center has 700 licensed beds and is the state's leading tertiary hospital, with a full complement of residencies and fellowships and an integral part of the Tufts University Medical School. This comprehensive program provides the highest level of expertise and leading edge technology, such that patients don't need to leave the state for quality heart care. We are pleased to share that the hospital is in the process of building a five-story patient care tower dedicated to cardiovascular excellence. It will be home to 19 new procedure rooms, including several hybrid ORs, as well as 64 new private patient rooms. The building is scheduled to open in early 2024.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
