is working with HM Payson (Portland, ME) to manage its search for a Trust Associate.
About the RoleThe trust associate assists trust officers with the administration of trust accounts, trust administrative reviews, client meeting preparation, and communications with beneficiaries, fiduciaries, outside professionals, and service providers.
The trust associate also reviews and interprets estate planning documents, provides tax and probate accounting assistance, and assists with reviews of fiduciary income tax returns and tax estimates.
QualificationsA bachelor's degree with five or more years' of financial services experience, or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
Broad knowledge of trusts, including all charitable vehicles such as unitrusts, annuity trusts, lead trusts, private foundations, estate planning, and trust taxation.
Intermediate or higher level CRM and MS Office proficiency.
Highly effective communication and relationship-building skills.
CertificationsCertified Trust and Financial Advisor designation is preferred.
