Supervisor - Nutrition Services

Summary Position Summary Assigns and directs activities of the patient services staff.
Responsible for staff training and assuring quality customer service.
Participates in the completion of performance reviews.
Serves as a department Customer Service Advocate.
Work is performed at a high degree of independence.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:
See Experience License/Certifications:
Serve Safe certification will be required by January 2005.
Experience:
Experience in food preparation, preferably in an institutional environment or an Associate's Degree in Food Service or closely related major.
Knowledge of Quality Improvement principles.
Knowledge of food service practices.
Knowledge of infection control procedures, sanitation procedures, and HACCP procedures.
Knowledge of quality control practices in food services.
Ability to establish and maintain good working relations with employees in all areas of the Medical Center.
Ability to lift equipment and food supplies, extensive walking, standing, bending, carrying, etc.
Ability to supervise a large staff.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
