Psych TechMaine Medical Center, P6A geriatric-psych inpatient unit with twenty-four-hour multidisciplinary behavioral health and medical services for adults with acute psychiatric needs who may have concomitant medical issues which are non-emergent.

Develop a working knowing of therapeutic interventions and interactions for common diagnosis of population served.
Maintain the unit schedule and facilitate timely transitions.
Assist patients with Daily Living Skills (ADLs) as directed by an RN Responsibilities Follow patient's treatment and behavior plan.
Conduct environmental rounds as assigned and remove any sharps or prohibited items.
Facilitate milieu based community groups and leisure/recreation groups Accompany patients on transports as assigned Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) - What you will need:
Education:
High School diploma and equivalent experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Services preferred.
License/Certifications:
