Summary Position Summary Reporting directly to the Maine Health, Sr.
Director of Engineering plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Engineering department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Is the primary role model; and coaches, empowers and assists the staff in professional growth and fulfillment of the mission, vision and values of the organization.
Collaborates with relevant stakeholders and leadership in planning and decision-making that affects the department.
Provides engineering, facilities, management support, and oversight to all LHS (local health system) operations, holdings, and executive leadership.
Collaborates with the Maine Health Facilities Division to include Engineering, Safety and Design & Construction with strategic goals.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1.
Education:
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in an accredited, relevant program desirable.

License/Certification:
N/A.

Experience:
Three to five years demonstrated leadership competence or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4.
Ability to mentor and empower staff; to set the climate on each shift or area of operation for cooperation and teamwork.
5.
Self-directed and self-motivated with a firm understanding of leadership role; skilled change agent.
6.
Effective communicator with the ability to create strong partnerships; serves as a role model through professional behavior and open, direct communication.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
