Program Management Specialist - Education and Training

Summary Position Summary The Program Management Specialist will support MaineHealth-wide patient education development.
This position facilitates the development of patient education that meets or exceeds best practice standards, including those for health literacy, and serves as a liaison between the patient education team and content experts, both clinical and non-clinical.
A Program Management Specialist also acts to reduce unnecessary healthcare services, avoidable expenses, and health disparities attributable to limited health literacy.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:
Bachelor's Degree in health care related field preferred.
License/Certifications:
N/A
Experience:
2
years of program coordination work experience.
2-4 years of health or related work experience.
Strong communication skills Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Technical acumen or subject matter expertise for programmatic tools (e.
g.
