Clinical Education Specialist

Position Summary The Clinical Education Specialist works collaboratively with faculty, content experts and other colleagues to design, develop implement and evaluate a simulation curriculum of innovative educational courses which integrate simulation techniques and applications available with the MMC Simulation Center.
Coordinates and allocates resources (space, equipment, personnel) to meet the daily commitments of the Simulation Center.
Reports directly to the Simulation Center Medical Director and is part of the clinical team that supports development of relevant and real-life simulated clinical scenarios that assist programs in achieving educational goals.
The Clinical Education Specialist also provides support for simulation research and associated operations/services.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's Degree preferred, in nursing, education, health care, instructional technology or a related field.
License/Certifications:
N/A
Experience:
Minimum of five years' experience in clinical practice, education, research, and/or health care education.
Demonstrated experience in education, curriculum design and utilization of education technology.
Excellent communication and writing skills, knowledge of human physiology and medical terminology, computer skills, and experience in medical simulation preferred.
Knowledge / experience related to health care informatics a plus.
High level of critical thinking skills, process and problem-solving skills, and demonstrates a solid understanding (and practical application) of project management fundamentals.
Demonstrated leadership experience with high level managerial and organizational skills and ability to supervise employees and support employee professional development plans.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
