This is an entry-level position with a support-based approach, fielding administrative tasks and requests as they come in from our legal assistants, paralegals, and attorneys from our litigation group.
Day-to-Day
Responsibilities:
Hand deliveries to court Greeting clients Preparation for meetings (client or internal) including scheduling, meal orders, setting up/breaking down conference rooms Processing incoming and outgoing mail Submitting travel reimbursement and other expense sheets Provide backup support and absence coverage Perform various administrative functions such as conflict checks, opening new matters, and timekeeping management as needed Carrying out other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Excellent attention to detail Possess strong communication skills (verbal and written) General knowledge of common software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, PDF, Excel, and MS Word Able to multitask and balance priorities Motivated to learn and grow At Drummond Woodsum we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
