4 16 hours ago Full Job Description Purpose The Manager of Business Development is responsible to support the Director of Business Development in the business development cycle this includes identification of transmission opportunities, origination to final bid submission and project agreement negotiations.
This role will participate/maintain relationships with partners, clients, and counterparties for the success of the project as well as take the lead in various key components of project development.
The Manager of Business Development will report to the Director, Business Development, and will be responsible for achieving the growth targets defined in the long-term investment plans or the annual budgets of AVANGRID Networks.
Responsibilities Supports the business development team with the business development cycle this includes:
Opportunity identification and origination (opportunity screening, project conception and preliminary design, negotiation of preliminary development agreements and contractual framework, etc.
).
Proposal submissions (design, creation, internal review, investment dossiers, submission, negotiations of projects agreements, follow-up), both in competitive and negotiated processes for transmission opportunities.
Participates in defining the overall growth targets, market selection and development strategy.
Establish resource plans and coordinate the internal needs of the business development team.
Prepare and provide reporting to the Director and the VP Business Development on a regular basis.
Interacts with other Networks Business Areas, AVANGRID Corporate Areas or Global Networks Areas or IBERDROLA Corporate Areas to meet goals and objectives.
Participates in negotiations with external stakeholders, including project partners, clients, system operators or regulatory entities.
Participate in internal business development forums and external energy and transmission forums.
Skills and Requirements Education & Experience Required:
Bachelors' Degree in Engineering or Business Administration (Master's Degree preferred) and a minimum of 8 years relevant experience required.
5 years of relevant experience in the energy sector, leading development teams with multinational and multidisciplinary contributions.
Strong experience in project development or business development in different regions or countries.
Experience in leading projects under development with investments of at least $300M and overall knowledge of the development phases of these initiatives.
Experience in leading bid teams and/or in negotiations with partners or clients of long-term agreements with associated investments or value of at least $300M.
Experience in starting new activities or new businesses is preferred.

Proficient at Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel and Power Point.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
